Why I’m Sharing My Full Initiate Journal Now

A Former Member’s Reflections

Hello, and welcome.

After completing the Initiate Program and spending a short time as an apprentice, my time at the Temple of the Jedi Order came to an abrupt end in early March 2026. Now that I’m no longer a member, I finally feel the freedom to share the journal entries I wrote during my training, showing them exactly as I originally posted them in the private forum.

Gratitude Letter To My Training Master

This blog is my personal archive:

  • My complete Initiate Program journal responses (backdated to the days I originally wrote them, so you can follow my real-time thoughts and growth)
  • A few recommendation pieces for anyone thinking of starting the program themselves
  • A transparent “My Side of the Story” post addressing
  • An open letter of gratitude to my former training master

I’m publishing the full series together so you can read it in the intended order: the honest work I did, the lessons that stayed with me, the clarifications that matter for context, and the gratitude I still carry forward.

Whether you’re a curious seeker, a fellow Jedi-realist, or just someone interested in how real people apply these teachings in everyday life, I hope something here resonates with you. The Jedi path is bigger than any one organization, and I’m grateful for the time I spent walking it inside the Temple, and for the freedom to continue walking it now on my own terms.

May the Force be with you on your own journey.

In Master Underhill's "The Exile's Path" series, we are invited not to argue over doctrines or force one path to fit the other, but to sit in the space where both speak to the same human longings: for peace amid emotion, balance through discipline, compassion without burnout, and a sense of being carried by something greater than ourselves.
