Lesson 1: Introduction to the Temple – Part 2: Chain of Command

Original journal entry from May 26, 2025 – Response to Lesson 1: Introduction to the Temple (Part 2: Chain of Command). This was my practical summary of the various ways to reach out to Temple members, offices, and groups early in the Initiate Program.

Some ways for reaching out to members of various roles at the temple seem relatively straightforward and as simple as navigating to the profile page of a given person and clicking on the letter icon under the person’s name. This is technically the same way as for contacting the Council, Council Secretary and the System Administrator, however, one can find their respective pages by clicking on their names or titles on the Council page. This works the same way for the Temple Offices page but it is additionally possible to contact the Moderator, various Clergy offices and PR & Marketing via the listed email addresses listed on the page under their respective offices. Of course, everyone with an account on here has at one point requested an account via the email listed on the welcome page. It is also possible to contact individual users directly via discord or asking questions directly in a channel. And let’s not forget the Contact Clergy link at the bottom of the main menu.

Looking back now: This entry reflects how I focused on the practical side of community participation early on — understanding how to connect respectfully with others in the Temple. It helped me feel more oriented and confident as I moved deeper into the lessons.
